Abstract

The problem dealt with the presentation of the course of Philosophy in the Higher Education School is discussed in the article. There are two main ways of this course presentation «historical and philosophical» and «problematic». The reasons for the benefit of each are analyzed. Taking into consideration the type of a higher technical school, the preference is given to the «problematic» way of presentation. The following structure of the course is suggested: 1) all themes are concentrated on three main problems — problems of being, problems of a human being and problems of society; 2) the whole presentation is «pierced» by the idea of rationality. The priority of this idea in teaching Philosophy is emphasized. Different contexts of functioning of the notion of rationality are examined in detail.
