The research area of philosophy of didactics

Philosophy of didactics is one of philosophy of education research branches. It makes theoretically-ideological analysis of educational activity according to the anthropological reference points and social demands of the epoch. It is shown that basic problems of philosophy of didactics contain the questions connected with its structure and content, and description of perspective trends of development, definition of its status among other scientific disciplines. The necessity of philosophy of didactics becoming caused by the need of pedagogical experience achievements understanding, theoretical and methodological grounding of pedagogical phenomenon, search for new methods and organizational forms, is emphasized. This branch is aimed not only at present educational needs, but at understanding of educational process from the point of view of future. This circumstance allows the didactics to reach a new level of development.
