The Main Priorities of Educational Policy at the Beginning of the XXI-st Century

Abstract

The quality and equality are determined as the main priorities of the contemporary education. The role of education in the achievement of social justice is emphasized by the author. It is underlined the importance of such problems as: equal access to preschool and primary school education, professional orientation, prevention of social marginalization and assistance to socially excluded persons, life-long learning for the establishment of a new pattern of social integration.
