Abstract

In the article the author analyzes the consequences for environment to which changes in natural surrounding as the result of human activity lead . it is emphasized that that environmental problems in Ukraine need the prime decision, due to radical reform of ecological education. The author claims that it is necessary to change strategy in root, the contents and the purpose of education in Ukraine, the attitude towards it state and public structures, giving his own understanding of this problem and the way of its decision.
As a solution of the tasks, the author analyzes world’s experience of modern ecological education, trying to adapt it to Ukrainian realities. Considering, in particular, the main models of greening of school education. The author considers that ecological education needs valuable and active character.
