Abstract

The article represents the review of ideas of Professor of Gyeongsang National University Jin Wann Park about the teaching appropriateness of philosophy for children beginning from the elementary school. His conception of democratic citizenship education from philosophical point of view is analyzed. The goal, basis, stages of carrying out of philosophical classes for children, teacher functions, auxiliary materials are determined based on Professor Park’s master-class «Philosophy for children». Common search of aporia solution, exercising of critical, creative and emotional thinking, reading and discussing of adaptive philosophical texts are the key components of such work.
