The article deals with one of the fundamental concepts of «community of researchers » of «Philosophy for Children» program, founded by American educator and philosopher M. Limpan, who emphasizes the importance of philosophical knowledge in connection with the necessity of updating the ontological nature of education. The need to change an attitude to educational activities (from the subjectobject to the subject-subjective model), which aims to become an event of «internal». Thus, the philosophy in the educational process should be seen as a mean which help to fulfi ll its mission to be a place of forming a reasonable, responsible, and socially active person.
