Abstract

The transformation of educational system is considered in the context of globalization and introduction of the information technologies. Different positions on coexistence of traditional conditions of higher education and the newest educational technologies are presented in the article. The main problems of formation of the interactive educational surrounding and development of distance learning are examined. The positive and negative consequence of intensive introduction of the information technologies into the system of higher education are shown in the paper.
