Information Resource: Problems of Development

Abstract

The status and prospects of formation of the segment in the field of education and psychology in Ukraine’s information space and participation of network educational libraries of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine are analyzed in this article. The article highlights key concepts concerning the state’s formation of the information space by educational libraries of Ukraine, such as information space, integration, corporativity, cooperation, integrated educational information resource. Effective tools of innovative activity of libraries, especially the creation of electronic resources аrе elucidated. The results of scientific work of V. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Pedagogical Llibrary of Ukraine together with leading network educational libraries concerning the formation of integrated educational information resource at the present stage are examined. The prospects of the aforementioned libraries in this direction are suggested.
