Abstract

A.S. Makarenko pedagogical achievements got wide recognition both in our country and abroad. The main advantage is the fact that in 1988 by decision of UNESCO, the whole world celebrated the 100-anniversary from his birthday. His book, where he shares his teaching ideas and experience of education of juvenile delinquents, was translated into many languages of the world. However, according to the author, pedagogical, philosophical and ideological heritage of Makarenko has yet to receive objective, adequate assessment. The aim of the article is to define the value of the philosophical and ideological bases of A.S. Makarenko pedagogical system. According to this purpose, the article contains a comparative analysis of the main (fundamental) principles of the A.S. Makarenko pedagogical system with relevant pedagogical, philosophical and system approach ideas. The author makes the unequivocal conclusion that the philosophical and religious bases of A.S. Makarenko pedagogical system were philosophical and pedagogical dialectics in the combination with the system approach and logic of common sense.
