The Gender Strategies and Integrity of Personality in the Educational Space: Existential and Social Dimensions.
Abstract
The problem of the gender strategies in education is examined in the paper. The three strategies are marked out. Among them are: masculine-subordinate, feminine-coordinative H androgynous-holistic or humanistic. Msculine-subordinate strategy means above all the clear subordination and monologicity in the educational process. It causes both the positive and negative consequences. Feminine-coordinative strategy also has its positive (flexibility, tolerance) and negative (lack of strategy,, firmness; steadfastness) features. It is also necessary, but not enough sufficient condition for effective learning. Androgynous-holistic or humanistic strategy of education is interpreted as synthesis of masculinesubordinate and feminine-coordinative strategies. This synthesis consolidates all their positive features and contributes to the integrative personality's actualization.
