Abstract
The article deals with the structural function of ethics in a process of understanding and interpretation of fine arts texts from the author’s viewpoint of intertext. The notion of intertext appeals as a substantial, providing a feed-back, unity of intentio autoris, intentio operis, and intentio lectoris.
